The University of Redlands offers evening degree programs for working adults.

The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) is an innovative and futuristic two-year degree program designed to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s businesses.  With more and more programming positions being out-sourced to overseas companies it is more important than ever that U.S.-based workers develop the skills and attain the knowledge required to remain and excel in the technology field.

The MSIT program at the University of Redlands School of Business has been specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s businesses and prepare its graduates for the future of the industry.  Redlands accomplishes this by constantly re-evaluating the program, discussing current topics with top academics and by conducting surveys of prominent industry leaders.  Through this process, one is assured that students will learn current in-demand skill sets while gaining a broad-based education with a solid ethical foundation to enable them to grow and excel throughout their lives.

The MSIT program prepares graduates to take high-profile, leadership roles in planning, designing, implementing, and managing strategic IT/IS.  The program is less technical and primarily focused on providing key management abilities.  A successful graduate will be prepared to flourish in a job that requires technical leadership and understanding; research and analysis of business and organizational requirements related to strategic utilization of IT/IS; and creative application of existing and emerging technology to solve complex business problems.

Successful MSIT graduates are prepared for mid- to senior-level IT/IS responsibilities in high-tech organizations, consulting firms, and IT departments within business and non-profit organizations. Graduates will be equipped to deploy and manage effectively the constantly changing business environment.
