United Way Giving Campaign
Support Our Community
Giving to the campaign is easy. Explore how your donation can help LA County and the Caltech community. In addition to the Caltech affiliates, you can also designate funds to go to your favorite 501(c)3.
In 2024, the Caltech affiliates will receive an Institute match for pledges made during the campaign to the respective organization.
The Caltech Y links the passions, talents, and skills of Caltech students with the wider community through service and leadership opportunities. United Way funding supports math and science tutoring for local middle and high school students and connects volunteers with local non-profit and community groups.
The Child Educational Center (CEC) provides quality early education and child care programs for infants, toddlers, preschool, and elementary school children of the Caltech/JPL, La Cañada, and Pasadena communities. The CEC's Professional Development Division provides extensive training for educators that focuses on creating more equitable outcomes for children.
The Children's Center at Caltech is a private non-profit early care and education center for children 6 months to 6 years and serves the Caltech campus, JPL, and the surrounding community. Our mission is to nurture the natural curiosity of children as a foundation for life-long learning.
