Programs & Engagement
HR Programs & Engagement partners with divisions and departments to design and enhance employee programming. We work to limit redundancy in staff training and offer relevant activities that garner a sense of self-efficacy and community. We recognize that one size does not fit all. Our programs are scalable for equitable access.
We are part of the Caltech community and have a vested interest in creating building blocks to support it.

Take Our Children to Work Day
This event provides an opportunity for children and teenagers to explore future career possibilities and learn more about what goes on at Caltech. Take Our Children to Work Day is an offshoot of the National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® program.
United Way Campaign
This campaign affords the opportunity for faculty, staff and scholars to contribute to the United Way's efforts to end homelessness, support veterans, and build a better community through payroll deductions, one-time annual gifts and participation in a fundraising 5K walk. The kickoff of the campaign is a "Family Night" event, which provides dinner and a movie for the campus community.
