THE NEED
Young professionals face unique challenges and are in vulnerable positions because of their age and relative experience. They have the distinct position of being early in their career to learn from established employees and develop the skills they need to thrive long-term in the workplace.

OUR GOAL
Through this group we hope to bolster their professional experience, create community, build long-lasting relationships, and create a network of young professionals to better mentor and support each other.

Young Professionals Mission Statement:
Young Professionals is an Employment Resources Group for staff, faculty, postdocs, and other working professionals at Caltech who consider themselves to be a young professional with the goal of focusing on the following five main pillars:

  2. Community Building
  3. Networking
  4. Workplace Culture
  5. Mentorship
