Come join us for our second in the series Dish and Discuss* on tge topic of: Cultural Appreciation or Appropriation?

Join CCD and ISP in a conversation discussing how we see appropriation within today's popular-culture. We will unpack how appropriation occurs when we lack understanding of the original culture. This can lead to a lack of appreciation of culturally significant artifacts, practices, and beliefs. We will explore how we can mutually benefit and gain understanding from different cultural identities.

*Dish and Discuss is a campus-wide workshop series (lunch is provided!) on a variety of topics intended to increase cultural intelligence, engage critical discourse, and provide an inclusive space for the exploration of diverse identities, thoughts, and interests.*
