Caltech Elects New and Returning Trustees

Caltech's Board of Trustees, which meets this week, welcomes three new members and one returning member.

Joe Kiani, founder, chairman, and CEO of Masimo; Fariborz Maseeh, founding and managing principal of Massiah Foundation; and Mason Smith (BS '09), head of software engineering at TGS Management Company, were elected to the Board in recent months. They join ambassador Barbara Barrett, 25th secretary of the U.S. Air Force who was re-elected. In total, the Board comprises 45 trustees and 29 senior trustees alongside 20 life members of the Caltech community and one honorary life member.
