Calling all Faculty, Staff, Postdoctoral Scholars!

Mark your calendars for the Benefits Fair on Tuesday October 10, 2023 from 8am-3pm PST at Avery House. Hosted by the Caltech Human Resources Benefits Office. This year's benefit fair will feature the following services and resources:

• Flu Shot Clinic
  • Flu shots are available at no cost to faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, students, and retirees who present a Caltech ID and flu shot consent form(available in September).
  • Make an appointment by visiting hr.caltech.edu/clinics. Appointments will be released in September.
    
• Mobile Health Vehicle (limited appointments)
  • Biometric screenings, including cholesterol, lipoproteins, glucose, and blood pressure (no fasting required) are available at no cost to faculty, staff, and postdoctoral scholars who present a Caltech ID.
  • Appointments will be released in September so check hr.caltech.edu/clinics for more information on how to make a flu shot appointment and access the consent form.
    
• Chair Massages
  • Stop by and relax with a free 15-minute chair massage - no appointment needed.
    
• Schedule a Future Preventative Care Appointment with Kaiser
  • Kaiser members who have a primary care physician (PCP) in the Los Angeles Service area can meet with a Kaiser representative to schedule a future preventative care appointment at their preferred Kaiser facility:
    • Review this Kaiser document for a list of medical offices in the Los Angeles service area, which includes offices in Pasadena and Glendale.
    • No appointments are necessary, just look for the big blue Kaiser bus to find the Kaiser representative.
      
• Get swag and enter a raffle for more great prizes!
  • The Benefits Office and insurance carriers are bringing swag items to help promote the benefits offered! Individuals may also participate in a raffle for the prizes the carriers are providing.
